Brian Bergeron has been a jewelry maker since high school in 1990 in Maine. He is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology in the School of American Craftsman where he continued his education in jewelry and metalsmithing. During his schooling he also worked for RIT’s Leonard Urso.
He worked in silver manufacturing as a designer, product developer, and production silversmith making products for very high end retailers and even had a hand in the making of the Kentucky Derby Trophy and MLB home Run Derby Trophy. (picture from about 1998)
Brian Bergeron Designs was started in 2002 with the creation of Tire Rings® as the first of a series of high quality thematic jewelry. Since then, Tire rings have been purchased in every state of the USA as well as over 12 other countries. Tire Rings® have been worn by men and women of all types of riding enthusiasts including a Grammy Award winning artist and a tire manufacturing designer.
Brian lives in Massachusetts with his wife and two sons. He also teaches in the Jewelry and Metalsmithing department at the Rhode Island school of Design in Providence, RI.
